Pokémon Hits High Fashion

...yep, you read that right.

As a former Japan resident (and, okay fineeee, Pokémon coveter) I had to share this! Pokémon was such a cultural phenomenon when we were there, that I was pleasantly surprised to see my childhood heroes revived through high fashion.  Enter Francis Phommisai.

What started as Phommisai's college project has, according to the Daily Beast, stemmed into a Tumblr page that's not only garnered thousands of followers and reposts, but also recognition from major fashion houses like Kenzo.  And given how on-the-map this brand is...that's no small feat.
